The Local Brewery

This project started with one beer and a blank slate. A small brewery based in Frontenac, Ontario, needed help bringing their identity to life, from logo to label to voice. The brand needed to feel familiar to folks in the region but also spark interest on shelves beyond Frontenac.
We targeted craft beer fans, farmers' market wanderers, cottagers, and curious locals. I developed the logo, packaging, tone of voice, and visual language across digital and print. Each beer in the lineup has its own character, but all are connected through a shared design system that reflects the brewery’s rural roots, the region’s tradition, and enjoyment of nature.
The brewery now has five beers in circulation, strong regional recognition, and a brand that scales with them as they grow. The tone and identity feel true to eastern Ontario cottage country, but ready for whatever’s next.
